Proctor Silex 2-Slice Toaster – Black/ Chrome (22608) Review
This toaster does what it is supposed to do, toasts bread of all thicknesses, evenly on both sides, even when the bread is frozen. It is easy to operate, and very consistent. Previously I had an expensive super whiz-bang toaster from a fancy European manufacturer with all kinds of fancy controls and it produced the worst toast ever. This one, at a quarter of the price, is far superior. I love it!

This is a great unit. Works perfectly and means one less applicance to clutter your countertop. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the little tray is almost impossible to keep clean, especially after a year or two of use. Maybe you can order a replacement on the Hamilton-Beach Web site. I didn’t think to look so instead I ordered another unit.
